On April 19, sixteen TMDU students from first to fifth year and five students from Imperial College, London had the chance to come together and discuss issues dear to the hearts of medical professionals. Work life balance is a problem that busy professionals world-wide must face, and it was very interesting for them to share their ideas from the standpoints of their prospective countries. The other topics concerned medical education, various career paths open to medical professionals, and the strengths and weaknesses of Japanese in international society. Discussions were very fruitful, and many voices were heard to express their satisfaction with this event.
