TMDU/Waseda Discussion Café on July 8, 2017

Our 8th Discussion Café was held on Saturday July 8 and hosted by Waseda University’s International Community Center (ICC). This time, the event brought more than 30 Japanese and International, grad and undergrad, students together from both universities.

The theme of this event was “Diversity.” Students focused on defining the topic, evaluating the challenges and rewards of promoting different forms of diversity in society. Participants from various backgrounds actively engaged in the discussion to exchange their opinions and experiences in English. It was a great opportunity to talk with others across boundaries of universities, faculties, and nationalities.

We greatly appreciate the efforts of all participants who joined us and helped to make it a wonderful session. We also would like to express our gratitude to the Waseda ICC staff who worked very hard in preparation for this event. The next Discussion Café will be held at TMDU in January, and we invite you all to come and join us!
