Energetic Students Join Together for DTbc

On Sunday, March 18th, G-HSLP and HSLP held their annual Design Thinking Boot Camp (DTbc). Packed into one full day of activities designed to simulate their creative thinking, nine graduate and fifteen undergraduate students joined together to practice a human-centered approach to problem solving. This year, students focused on current research about diabetes in Japan and tackled the issue of non-compliant diabetic patients through design thinking methods.

Creative thinking skills are essential for generating innovation and change in the healthcare industries, and these students enthusiastically committed to practicing the techniques needed to improve these skills. All the tutors and instructors were extremely impressed with the energy and interest that students devoted to this boot camp. Thank you to everyone for making the DTbc a success!
