In keeping with the need for social distancing, TMDU provided the Academic English Intensive Spring Course via the online platform Zoom. Although some students prefer face-to-face lessons, many students said they were happy to practice online, because breakout rooms gave them a chance to practice speaking exercises without the distraction of other students’ voices. Also, they were able to have more one-on-one time for correction by the instructor.
