As part of TMDU's Top Global University Project, a TOEFL Spring Intensive Course will be held with the aim of assisting participants to improve their English ability as well as their TOEFL score. For those that are interested in participating, please submit the application form following the application procedure below. Application deadline is January 18 (Mon.) 17:00.

[Course description]
This course is for students who want to improve their English skills of "Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing" which are covered in the TOEFL test.

Capacity

Limited to 90 students (Class size is 10 students)

Eligibility

All TMDU students (Undergraduates and graduates from all faculties)

Selection

In the case of applicants exceeding 90, selection will be based on academic attitude.

M&D Tower classrooms (Rooms will be announced after acceptance)

• (Week B) 2/29 - 3/04
• (Week C) 3/07 - 3/11

10:00 - 15:00 (120 min X 2, Break 12:00 - 13:00)

Price of a textbook^※around ¥4,000 yen (Purchase at: COOP (B1, Building 5))

Requirements

• 1.Participants must attend all classes in a week. Session attendance and status of score report submission (Explained in (2)) are taken seriously and will be presented to the Education Committees. This information may be taken into account when applying for overseas training. We will only accept requests for schedule changes until February 8; no requests will be considered after that date.
• 2.Participants are required to take a TOEFL iBT Practice Test, which will be given on campus, or an official TOEFL iBT test provided by CIEE off campus; in case of the official test a photocopy of the score report must be submitted to the GECD office. TOEFL iBT Practice Tests are scheduled to be held on March 9 and 15 (Subject to change), and the examination fee (¥4000) shall be borne by participants (Payment methods to be announced later). If taking the official TOEFL iBT test off campus, please take it within two months of attending the course. (Examination fee is around US$230) Please note, the TOEFL iBT Practice Test is not authorized by ETS as an official test, so the score is not valid for official uses.
