On a cold spring Saturday and Sunday students from first through graduate school came together to work on their critical and analytical thinking skills before starting the new academic year. This group was composed of spring acceptance HSLP members, HSLP associate members, and students who were chosen to go overseas for research this year.

These boot camp sessions are very effective for helping students organize their thinking, summarize their statements, and reduce their fear of expressing opinions. We also went over some business English usage and how vocabulary choice can make a big difference in the level of your comments. It is always wonderful to see students come out of their shells and participate in fruitful conversations.

The next CTbc will be in the fall. And we will announce on this website if it is decided to provide a chance for students to apply for CTbc.
