We have been holding a series of events called “Find-Your-Role-Model” Session to provide students with opportunities to interact with TMDU alumni and worldwide leaders in healthcare sciences. Through this roundtable-type, relaxed atmosphere event, we hope students will be able to find their role models to help facilitate their career development toward becoming future global leaders.

We are pleased to invite Dr. Shunsuke Takaki, Associate Professor and Director of the Yokohama City University Hospital’s Intensive Care Department. He is also a Chief Executive Officer of CROSS SYNC, Inc. After graduating from Yokohama City University’s School of Medicine, Dr. Takaki worked in intensive care, anesthesiology and emergency medical care at Yokohama City University, going on to complete his Clinical Fellowship in Malaysia, and in Australia. He was appointed the title of Associate Professor, and Director of the Intensive Care Department after returning to Japan and then founded CROSS SYNC, Inc., a Yokohama City University venture company, where he is working daily to solve problems in the medical field by accelerating the use of AI and information sharing. He also received an MBA in Social Innovation from Yokohama City University’s Graduate School of International Management, where he worked for two years on the fusion of social issues, business administration and improving his data analysis skills in the context of rapid globalization.
