20th “Find-Your-Role-Model” Session (4th in 2015 Series)

We have been holding a series of events called “Find-Your-Role-Model” Session to provide students with opportunities to interact with TMDU alumni and world-wide leaders in health sciences. Through this roundtable-type, relaxed atmosphere event, we hope students will be able to find their role models in order to facilitate their career development in becoming future global leaders.

In the fourth Find-Your-Role-Model session of academic year 2015 we will be hosting Dr. Douglas Osei-Hyiaman a NeuroEndocrinologist. Born in Ghana, Africa, he went on to get his B.S. in Biology at San Francisco State University, California, USA. He then went on to receive his Masters and Doctorate in Medical Science at University of Tsukuba, Japan, and completed his Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the National Institute of Health, Bethesda, Maryland, USA. He has done extensive research in the United States for NIH, as well as for RIKEN Center for Molecular Imaging here in Japan.
