33rd “Find-Your-Role-Model” Session (9th in 2016 Series)
We have been holding a series of events called “Find-Your-Role-Model” Session to provide students with opportunities to interact with TMDU alumni and worldwide leaders in health sciences. Through this roundtable-type, relaxed atmosphere event, we hope students will be able to find their role models in order to facilitate their career development in becoming future global leaders.
In the ninth FYRM session of academic year 2016 we will be hosting Dr. Joel Katz a graduate of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He is an infectious diseases consultant, Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program, and Vice Chair for Education at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He also holds the post of Associate Professor of Medicine at the Harvard Medical School. This session will be carried out in a round-table discussion format, and will cover the following points. Everyone is welcome to join us in a hearty discussion.

Dr. Katz is a former commercial artist and has an interest in utilizing the humanities to improve medical education. Please join us to learn more about medical school in the U.S., and how art can relate to physical diagnosis!
Discussion style
The guest will share his career experiences; then move onto the roundtable discussion.
