51st “Find-Your-Role-Model” Session (2nd in 2019 Series)
We have been holding a series of events called “Find-Your-Role-Model” Session to provide students with opportunities to interact with TMDU alumni and worldwide leaders in health sciences. Through this roundtable-type, relaxed atmosphere event, we hope students will be able to find their role models in order to facilitate their career development in becoming future global leaders.
For the second FYRM session of the 2019 academic year, we will host Dr. Sayori Kobayashi, Medical Officer at The Research Institute of Tuberculosis. After she graduated from Kyorin University in 2004, Dr. Kobayashi trained as a resident with a focus on pediatrics. In 2011, she earned a Master’s degree from the University of Tokyo, School of Public Health and then worked at MSF and the WHO. While with MSF, Dr. Kobayashi worked in places like Kenya, Pakistan, South Sudan and Jordan.
This session will be carried out in a round-table discussion format, and will cover the following points. Everyone is welcome to join us in a hearty discussion.
