56th “Find-Your-Role-Model” Session (3rd in 2020 Series)
We have been holding a series of events called “Find-Your-Role-Model” Session to provide students with opportunities to interact with TMDU alumni and worldwide leaders in health sciences. Through this roundtable-type, relaxed atmosphere event, we hope students will be able to find their role models in order to facilitate their career development in becoming future global leaders.
We will host Dr. Satoshi Ezoe, the Director of the Global Health Policy Division, International Cooperation Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) since August 2020. After initial clinical training, Dr. Ezoe was engaged in the areas of global health in Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. He later received an MPH and MPA from Harvard University. He worked at the UNAIDS Headquarter in Geneva (2009-2012). He was the first appointed Senior Coordinator for Global Health (2015-2017), and most recently served as Counsellor of the Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations (2017-2020), where he facilitated global health initiatives including the UN General Assembly High-Level Meetings on Tuberculosis (2018) and Universal Health Coverage (2019).
This session will be carried out in a round-table discussion format, and will cover the following points. Everyone is welcome to join us in a hearty discussion.
