～Let’s Talk About the Future of Learning!～

What is Discussion Café?

In July 2013, TMDU and Waseda University signed an agreement with the primary goal of cooperating to cultivate future global leaders. This will be the 16th gathering of "Discussion Café" under this cooperation.

DCafé provides a rich environment for discussion in English of current controversial topics with students from various backgrounds. This is a fantastic opportunity to network with students in various fields of study from Japan and other countries and practice expressing your opinions in English!

Discussion Topic

Students at Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU) and Waseda are very different, but we have one major thing in common: As university students, our life is centered around LEARNING!

Actually, learning is a lifelong process, and your journey with it will not end with your graduation. This means it will help to find a unique learning style that works best for YOU.

Stop and think about how you study every day. Do you have a specific method? Has it changed at all with COVID-19?

This is your opportunity to learn about learning. Sign up to share thoughts on the topic, pick up new tips and tactics, and become a smarter learner now!

Help with language and discussion skills will be provided. Participation is not limited to advanced English speakers, as long as you’re interested in the topic!

If you want to practice expressing your thoughts in English, or discuss with students from other universities, then please sign up and join the English Discussion Cafe!
