The third collaboration between Waseda ICC and TMDU’s Global Education & Career Development Office was organized by our HSLP students and held on the 26F of M&D Tower. It was a beautiful day and all 40 participants could have a great view of Mt. Fuji while they discussed “Inequality and Inequity in Health”.
There was a great mixture of students from Japan and many other countries, which gave the discussions an international feeling. Talking to the students and reading the post-event questionnaires, there were many comments about being ‘inspired by talking with students from different backgrounds and learning about other countries’ beliefs’. Also, that ‘interacting with energetic highly-motivated students’ gave them a desire to become more motivated.
These events are a great opportunity for not only practicing English discussion and debate skills, but for networking with students from a wide variety of faculties and countries. We would like to send out a big thank you to all of you who participated. Please tell a friend and come again!
