HSLP Retreat

The first annual HSLP Retreat was held this past Sunday, December 21. Organized and run by a committee consisting of first- and second-year students, Kenta, Ryo, Hiroto, and Yuri, this retreat’s aim was to revisit our shared goals, to share our achievements, and to unite HSLP students together for the growth of our community. The activities of the retreat emphasized having the students get to know each other by working in teams composed of both years. The retreat concluded with a mini-design thinking project focused on using the spirit of omotenashi to solve challenges presented by the 2020 Olympics, and a presentation from Go Global Japan forum second place winners, who preformed their speech, “Put it Out, and Light the Future.”
All of our students have worked incredibly hard this year, and we are very excited to see them gather to support each other. We are looking forward to watching them grow even more in the coming years!
