TMDU believes overseas experiences are a very important element of our students' education. One overseas program selection offers participation in external clerkship rotations in the sixth year. Before sending students overseas we prepare them in our 7-month Fit for Overseas Clerkship opportuUnitieS (FOCUS) Course, where they practice history taking, physical examination, chart writing and case presentations in English. This year's group is off to a great start with 18 fifth-year medical students chosen for their school excellence, broadmindedness and English skills.
