On Monday, May 20th, twenty-four 4th year medical students who will be conducting research at overseas universities this year completed the preparatory ASSERT course. During the five sessions of the class, students practiced creating and delivering presentations on the topic of their intended research. Students had an opportunity to learn more deeply about their topic, as well as review concepts in English related to literature searching and argument organization for scientific papers and presentations—all practical skills students need for their study abroad experience!
